August 20-25, the 31th International Conference on Yeast Genetics and Molecular Biology (ICYGMB31) was held in Florence, Italy.

Prof. Yongjin Zhou was invited to give the plenary lecture on sub-organelle engineering to improve the chemical biosynthesis in yeast cell factories.
