On November 13-15, the 2024 International Conference on Metabolic and Protein Engineering for Biosynthesis was successfully held at DECHEMA conference Center in Frankfurt, Germany. As a co-organizer of the conference, Prof. Yongjin Zhou was invited to attend the meeting and gave a presentation .

This conference was supported by the Sino-German Center for Research Promotion (SGC), which was established by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and the German Research Foundation (DFG), aimed at fostering collaborative scientific research between the two countries. (Text by Bai Fan, image by the conference organizer)
