PhD candidates Linhui Gao and Xiaoyan Wu successfully passed their PhD defense on November  19, 2024. Linhui Gao presented her progress on metabolic engineering Komagataella phaffii for efficient biosynthesis of sesquiterpenoids. Xiaoyan Wu presented her progress on metabolic engineering of Komagataella phaffii for efficient production of hydroxypropionic acid from methanol.
