January 16-17, our group's 2024 annual meeting was successfully held at the Communication Center. 24 members presented their work progress of 2024. In addition, Dr. Rongzhen Tian from the MRC Molecular Biology Laboratory at the University of Cambridge was invited to give a special lecture on "Synthetic bacterial orthogonal replication systems enable accelerated evolution". Prof. Yongjin Zhou gave the concluding speech and proposed new goals of 2025.

At the farewell ceremony for postdoctoral researchers, Prof. Yongjin Zhou extended best wishes and presented souvenirs to Dr. Wei Yu and Dr. Jingjing Li on behalf of the whole group. During the awards ceremony, Prof. Yongjin Zhou and Associate Prof. Jiaoqi Gao presented certificates of honor to the teachers and students who published articles in 2024. At the end, everyone celebrated the eighth anniversary of our group with great enthusiasm and extended their wishes to the members celebrating birthdays in January and February.
