PhD candidates Shan Yang and Min Ye successfully passed their PhD defense on May 8, 2024. Shan Yang presented her progress on metabolic engineering of Saccharomyces cerevisiae for de novo biosynthesis of xanthohumol. Min Ye presented her progress on globally metabolic rewiring of Ogataea polymorpha for efficient biosynthesis of sesquiterpenoids.
