Metabolic Engineering Summit 2026 was held in Dalian from October 18 to 22, which was organized by our center together with the International Metabolic Engineering Society. The event attracted over 700 participants from 27 countries.

This summit shared latest advances in metabolic engineering and synthetic biology, promoted in-depth international exchange and collaboration, and enhanced China's international standing and academic influence in the field of metabolic engineering. (Text and images by Linfeng Xie)
